Avita PM is looking for a dedicated and hard-working candidate for our Housekeeper position at our newest acquisition by the Pearl and Riverwalk, Riverhouse Apartments!

Schedule :

Monday through Friday 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM

Pay : Starting at $19 / Hour

General Responsibilities :

1. General Cleaning & Sanitation

Clean common area bathrooms and common areas daily (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash).

Sanitize frequently touched surfaces and install scents where needed

Clean Gym and gym equipment daily

• Clean office daily

2. Safety & Environment Management

Keep hallways and mail rooms clutter-free

Use safe, non-toxic cleaning supplies approved for environments.

Immediately clean spills and hazards.

Maintain good lighting and remove obstacles that could confuse or endanger residents.

3. Apartment Cleaning and show units

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED (preferred, but not always required).

Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience is often preferred

Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation techniques.

Ability to follow infection control and safety procedures.

Strong attention to detail to maintain a safe, uncluttered environment.

Patience, compassion, and understanding when interacting with residents who may be confused or anxious.

Good communication skills to work as part of a care team and interact respectfully with residents and families.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move equipment or furniture as needed.

Stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
