Summary
We are seeking energetic, creative educators to lead an infant room. The ideal candidate will provide a nurturing and safe environment for infants to develop and reach age-appropriate milestones and demonstrate good judgment in caring for and playing with each infant / toddler. The ideal candidate also has an excitement for learning and is patient, calm, and flexible.
Duties
- Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in his / her care
- Give bottles to infants as provided by parents
- Feed infants' solid foods as age appropriate and provided by parents
- Change diapers as needed
- Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them
- Mimic infant sounds,talk to infants, and read books
- Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age appropriate toys
- Put infants in cribs for nap time
- Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean
