Job Opportunity : Forklift Operator / Material Handler

The Forklift Operator / Material Handler is responsible for loading and moving product throughout the plant. Duties and responsibilities include :

• Operate forklifts and equipment properly and adhere to all safety requirements in the work area.
• Receive and distribute incoming packages and mail.
• Assist in pulling materials from racks.
• Sort product for quality demand.
• Sort and place Canada returns.
• Load skids.
• Wrap skids to ensure tools are not damaged during shipment.
• Ensure freight is not damaged or missing before signing off on freight bill.
• Interact professionally with colleagues and customers.
• Practice 5S and safety.
• Take appropriate corrective action for continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
• React to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned, including working other shifts as needed.
