Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit to hire an Operations Coordinator who will play a key role in supporting leadership and executing high-impact fundraising events throughout the year. Key Responsibilities :
Event Management & Logistics
- Lead planning and on-site coordination for major events (galas, golf outings, community fundraisers, and auctions).
- Manage logistics such as travel arrangements, vendor coordination, silent auction setup, seating charts, and run-of-show details.
- Serve as a key point of contact for guests and donors during events.
- Support event packing, setup, and teardown (must be comfortable with physical aspects of event prep).
Leadership & Operations Support
Support executive leadership with scheduling, meeting prep, and follow-up, ensuring priorities stay on track and needs are anticipated in advance.Coordinate weekly scheduling touchpoints and proactively flag conflicts or follow-up actions.Maintain organized documentation, meeting notes, and key deadlines across projects.Communications & Media Coordination
Oversee the organizational media and content calendar, ensuring that planned communications (email campaigns, social posts, etc.) align with event timelines and fundraising initiatives.Collaborate with internal staff to ensure deliverables are scheduled and executed on time.Administrative Support
Assist with budget tracking, reimbursements, and documentation related to events and operations.Maintain organized records and help streamline processes across departments.
