Description

Markon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Springfield, VA to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams supporting the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and partner Federal Agencies. This role drives complex systems engineering initiatives and shapes the architecture and integration of mission-critical GEOINT systems that enable U.S. and allied operations.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to :

• Mentor and guide mid- and junior-level systems engineers across the full engineering lifecycle, including :

Requirements development,

Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs),

Project management,

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

A TS / SCI with ability to pass a polygraph may be considered, provided that all required and desired experience has been met.

Systems Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Other related STEM disciplines,

DoD / Intelligence Community (IC) Acquisition Processes,

MBSE (Model-based Systems Engineering),

Desired Qualifications

Systems Engineering,

Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, languages, and processes,

Photogrammetry,

NSG - National System for Geospatial-Intelligence,

ACSM - American Congress on Surveying and Mapping,

Salary Range

USD $140,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 / Yr.
