POSITION PURPOSE\nTo provide diagnostic imaging services to patients using various imaging modalities, ensuring accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and optimal patient care. Prioritize patient education, explaining procedures, equipment, and optimal patient care.\n ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES : \nSupervisory-Specific Performance Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities : \n N / A\nPosition-Specific Performance Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities : \n Demonstrates advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures, including, but not limited to X-ray\nand Fluoroscopy, with C-arm, and OR work.\n Performs all exams based on Imaging Department Protocols or protocols the exam with the\nRadiologist.\n Practices radiation safety, adhering to ALARA standards.\n Ability to operate equipment consistent with manufacturers recommendations.\n Troubleshoots equipment problems and independently calls a service engineer if the malfunction\nneeds outside maintenance.\n Verifies exam orders, identifies the patient through two means of identification, and provides\nexam education.\n Reviews and documents the patients medical history, obtains required informed consent, and\nensures all necessary paperwork and prior studies are complete and available before submitting\nprocedures for Radiologist interpretation.\n Maintains accurate patient records in EHR, including charging for procedures and\nsupplies.\n May be required to perform other functions within the clinic. Any additional training required\nwill be provided.\n Demonstrates flexibility by assisting in other modalities, adjusting schedules, and taking call,\novertime, or holiday shifts as needed.\n Obtains additional training or certification as required.\n Assists with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when\nrequired.\n Assists, trains, or cross-trains imaging staff members as directed.\n Must be self-motivated, use independent judgment, and be able to work with minimum\nsupervision.\n Orders, stocks, and maintains supply inventory.\n Performs other duties as assigned.\nOrganization -Specific Performance Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities : \n Demonstrates full commitment to the CHOICE values of MRH and consistently represents the\norganization in a positive, professional manner.\n Establishes and maintains effective verbal and written communication, fostering positive working\nrelationships with patients, staff, and vendors.\n Adheres to the MRH attire and dress code in accordance with organizational policies and\nprocedures.\n Exhibits initiative and self-motivation; maintains a consistent level of productivity and\nmanages time and responsibilities effectively.\n Completes all required annual education, training, in-services, and licensure / certification\nupdates ; actively participates in departmental and organizational meetings or reviews meeting\nminutes as required.\n Maintains strict patient confidentiality at all times.\n Reports to work punctually and completes assigned duties within established timeframes.\n Actively contributes to departmental and organization-wide performance improvement and\ncontinuous quality initiatives.\n Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining adherence to departmental,\nhospital, state, and federal standards and policies.\n Follows all infection control, safety, and risk management procedures to maintain a safe\nenvironment for patients, the public, and staff.\n QUALIFICATIONS : \n Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for positions requiring driving, with a valid drivers\nlicense).\n Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.\n Must successfully pass a background check.\n Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test (if\napplicable).\n Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.\n\n\n\n\n\n
