Job description

We are seeking a General Dentist for a locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Dec 8, 2025, for a 40-day contract. This opportunity offers autonomy and an easy-to-build patient base, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8am to 5pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with treatment planning, scaling, root planing, and the management of periodontal disease.

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform comprehensive dental examinations and establish individualized treatment plans

Conduct scaling and root planing procedures

Diagnose and manage periodontal disease

Restore and maintain oral health for patients

Foster patient rapport and ensure a positive clinical experience

Utilize Eaglesoft for patient records and treatment planning

Additional Information

Active New York dental license required

Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification required

High chance of extension
