Job description

We are seeking a General Dentist for a locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Dec 8, 2025, for a 40-day contract. This opportunity offers autonomy and an easy-to-build patient base, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8am to 5pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with treatment planning, scaling, root planing, and the management of periodontal disease.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and establish individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct scaling and root planing procedures
  • Diagnose and manage periodontal disease
  • Restore and maintain oral health for patients
  • Foster patient rapport and ensure a positive clinical experience
  • Utilize Eaglesoft for patient records and treatment planning

  • Active New York dental license required
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification required
  • High chance of extension
