Cost Controller – Biopharmaceuticals – 12 Month Contract – Texas

Cost Controller Responsibilities:

• Leads all project cost control activities supporting various site capital projects for the BioPharma campus.
• Expected to work with A/E, CM, CQV firms, and other vendors/contractors as needed
• Support the procurement process, working pre-contract with client Procurement as required and ensuring budget checks are carried out prior to committing purchase orders and contracts.
• Support bid analysis in conjunction with GERE estimating resources along with any value engineering exercises
• Responsible for the cost reporting and forecasting processes on site projects, including change management and internal resource forecasting and control.
• Support change order evaluations in conjunction with GERE estimating resources
• Responsible for monitoring project progress, productivity, and earned value
• Responsible for reviewing applications for payment / invoices in accordance with client requirements

About you:

• Experience with project controls in a construction environment with pharmaceutical project experience
• Experience of valuations, administration of sub-contractor accounts and variations.
• Understanding of construction techniques and specifications
• Experience of working within a team environment
• Successful candidates will have at least 10 years' experience in all facets of cost controls.
• Experience of handling large value contracts or subcontracts expected
