The Role

We have a Career Opportunity with a high performing - established team for an Account Director Senior. This person will be responsible for leading sales efforts within the Intelligence Community (IC) and peripheral within the Washington D.C. Metro Area selling complex communication solutions (IP, data, cloud, managed hosting, voice, and cybersecurity).

Requires a TS / SCI poly.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with existing customers to grow additional business and protect existing revenue. Develop action plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customer spend with the company.
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities : contact prospective customers by cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments to achieve established sales and revenue quotas.
  • Collaborate with overlays and technical counterparts for product solutions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company.
  • Introduce company products and services to new and / or existing customers.
  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities in order to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
  • Learn and develop further knowledge of new technologies and selling points which includes enhancing expertise in the company's product portfolio.
  • Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and / or existing accounts.
  • Embrace change in a transforming company.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Education and Experience :

7-10 years' experience working within the Federal sector, with a minimum 5 years sales / business development experience calling on Federal organizations

Required10 years of Business to Business / Government technology sales experience in Large, Global / Enterprise Accounts

Knowledge of wireline telecommunications technologies and recurring revenue business models

Bachelor's Degree

Security Requirements :

TS / SCI with Poly

Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information (applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation)

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$112230 - $149630 in these states : AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$118130 - $157500 in these states : AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$124040 - $165380 in these states : CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$129940 - $173250 in these states : AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
