Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : WV or Compact License - pending license acceptable

Certifications : BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (via American Heart Association)

Must-Have : Minimum 2 manager or charge references within the past 2 years

Job Description :

• Function as a Cath Lab RN working 4x10 days from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM.
• On-call requirements include 1 weekday and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, with inclusion in holiday scheduling.
• Required skills include Vents, IV Start, SWANZ, Circulate, Telemetry, PA Lines, Conscious Sedation, Balloon Pumps, Impella.
• Work with Cerner and Merge EMR systems.
• Work setting experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Labs, Special Procedures, participating in diagnostic / interventional cardiology, and endovascular peripheral intervention.
• Preferred work setting experience in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab and Interventional Radiology.
• Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures, including cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations in adults, and pulmonary artery line insertion.
• Operate and maintain equipment, including PACS and Siemens, and stock supplies.
• Perform abdominal, pelvic angioplasty, embolization, inferior vena cava filter placement, and stent placement.
• Conduct vascular studies / procedures, including upper and lower extremity angiography.
• Maintain sterile fields, accurately monitor equipment and patient status, and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Participate as a room circulator and scrub tech, ensuring vascular closure system expertise.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and effectively utilize the Rapid Response team.
