Please join us as a Electrical Power Subsystem Engineer , where you will join Space Protection Programs (SPP), one of the most innovative and fastest moving organizations in Space. Location : This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

What does this role look like?

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Electrical Power Subsystem Engineer to join Space Protection Programs supporting multiple programs. In this role you support current programs with the development of EPS architectures, CONOPs, EPS analysis and the integration of batteries, solar arrays, harnessing, and control electronics.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role :

  • Establish system architecture and CONOPS, perform system level design and decomposition into requirements.
  • Lead trade studies and layout while collaboratively working across the engineering teams.
  • Provide design, integration, and engineering support of Electrical systems and products.
  • Lead and perform technical analysis of complex system problems and develop solutions to those problems.
  • Support technical reviews and be able to present to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of EPS components.
  • Troubleshooting and anomaly resolution and support system level testing.
  • To be effective in this role, you will need :

  • Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
  • Experience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.
  • Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
  • Experience in presentations and in written communication skills.
  • 3+ years of professional experience for this role.
  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.

  • Prior experience as a Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE) or Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) or Delegate or Integrator roles.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations.
