This position would require a significant portion of travel during certain times of the year.

Benchmark Companies is seeking a qualified applicant to serve as our logistics coordinator. This person will schedule intercompany shipments of equipment and wood mulch products as well as customer shipments of finished goods. Applicants are encouraged to have the following :

• 3 years of dispatching / logistics experience
• Detail oriented
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, bilingual (Spanish) is not required, but would add significant value
• Be a positive, forward-thinking problem solver
• Strong organizational approach to office tasks
• Ability to manage a budget

This role will perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, the following :

Management of subcontractors

Load ticket reconciliation

Invoice and receipt reconciliation

Customer interaction (W9, Insurance verification, etc)

Additional projects as assigned

This role will also complete tasks in our logistics coordination hub. Tasks for this portion of the position would include :

Maintaining all insurance and registrations

Coordination and route / schedule planning with divisional supervisors

Significant client interaction.
