Senior QE Engineer

Job Description

OneMain Financial is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QE Engineer with broad technical expertise to lead the design, development, and optimization of test automation frameworks, data-driven testing strategies, and quality engineering processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on experience with automation tools for web, mobile, and API testing, along with strong integration skills to streamline workflows and enhance test reporting and analytics.

The successful candidate will have a passion for leveraging GenAI solutions and building scalable, robust automation inventories. They will work closely with software developers, product owners, DevOps, business, and operations teams to expand the scope and reach of automation, integrating automation deliverables into CI / CD pipelines and ensuring alignment with delivery workflows.

This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives and deliver actionable insights through KPI dashboards and interactive reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation, synthetic test data generation, data visualization for reporting, and a strong understanding of quality metrics. Domain knowledge in personal lending, banking or financial services is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Test Automation & Framework Development

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, and data testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Mabl, and Postman.
• Develop and automate functional, system integration, performance, and API test cases.
• Apply GenAI solutions to expand automation inventory and accelerate testing cycles.
• Integrate automation deliverables into CI / CD pipelines, ensuring alignment with delivery workflows.
