Clinical Pharmacist Phoenix VA Health Care System

Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time| Variable Shifts

About the Role

We are seeking licensed Clinical Pharmacists to join the Phoenix VA Health Care System. Youll provide a full range of pharmacy services supporting veterans with safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense and verify provider medication orders in VistA / CPRS.
  • Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
  • Advise providers on drug selection, dosages, and therapeutic alternatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal / state regulations for controlled substances.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and security of all medications.
  • Foster a collaborative, patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

  • Unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. State, Territory, or DC (must include controlled substances).

    • Schedule

  • 8, 11, or 12-hour shifts (days, evenings, nights).
  • Rotating weekends and holidays required.
