About the Role
We are hiring a Licensed Psychologist (LP) to conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental differences. This role is perfect for a clinician who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and passionate about making a difference.
What You’ll Do
Perform diagnostic assessments using standardized tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, CARS, or DISCODeliver results to families with clarity and compassionWrite thorough reports and submit them within 7 days of each evaluationOffer follow-up guidance to support families with the next steps in careOperate as a Licensed Qualified Autism Service Provider (LQASP) per NC Medicaid standardsCollaborate across disciplines to ensure comprehensive, child-centered careHelp maintain clinic audit readiness and contribute to quality improvement effortsAdhere strictly to HIPAA standards and ethical clinical practicesWhat We’re Looking For
Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology or a related fieldActive Maryland LP or LPA licenseExperience with autism evaluations and standardized diagnostic toolsStrong clinical judgment, documentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work efficiently and compassionately in a team settingPrevious clinic-based experience is preferred but not requiredBenefits & Perks
