Overview
SCCI is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team! The successful candidate will directly support a diversity of technical writing, market research, develop and maintain up to date reporting and briefing materials. This is in support of DoD contract compliance requirements and will provide exemplary customer service. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA .

Responsibilities :
Responsibilities for this position include office and facility support functions, as well as management and technical team support functions, such as :
- Create, edit, and manage formal documents, records and power point presentations within Microsoft Office products for formatting consistency, grammar, and technical contract compliance
- Provide general administrative and clerical support, to include record management, travel expense reporting of teams, and market research and analysis
- Maintain filing systems and data repositories for historical retrievals; scan, fax, and manage sensitive (PII) materials
- Track workflow of documentation throughout the process's life cycles and update all stakeholders
- Support the development of white papers and other proposals documents in support of the contract requirements
- Provide technical writing and editing of government documents including but not limited to project engineering and requirements documentation
- Translate technical details to develop, and relay high-level briefs, and charts using Microsoft Office products
- Use NSWCDD customer networks and designated server locations to save and transmit technical data packages and other information required by the government customer
- Assist with collecting, collating, analyzing and distributing market research and technical data from the government customers to create proper and accurate data packages
- Document requirements from Technical Point of Contact (TPOC), create and update processes and procedures, and write technical reports on contract progress for sponsor review
- Develop PowerPoint presentations and Excel data sheets as required
- Train new hire to support meetings and upload data to SharePoint
- Assist the Program Scheduler with scheduling updates in Microsoft Project
- Observe both staff and internal processes to identify and recommend areas of improvement
