What This Role is All AboutAs a Caring Mental Health Counselor, you'll provide compassionate support to individuals and families navigating life's challenges. Your work will help clients improve their mental health and overall well-being through personalized care and therapeutic interventions.

️ Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify mental health issues and needs- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services utilizing techniques such as CBT and ABA- Facilitate group therapy sessions to support individuals dealing with similar issues- Offer crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress or emergency situations- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with ICD-9 coding standards- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients- Advocate clients' needs within the community and connect them with appropriate resources

Requirements- Current state licensure as LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT or eligibility as an associate working toward full licensure- Experience in therapy for PTSD care, crisis intervention, CBT, group therapy, and working with individuals and families- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices- Associated with NC Tracks of North Carolina (can become affiliated once hired)
