Job Overview
Ensures safe, appropriate, and economical use of drugs through the application of specialized skills and knowledge in pediatric patient care.
The Department of Pharmacy provides comprehensive clinical services to patients at Children's Hospital Colorado. We have organized clinical pharmacy services that complement the team approach to providing care. Our clinical pediatric pharmacists are available 24 hours a day and help ensure the safe and effective use of medication in children - as well as promote health, wellness and disease prevention. Our specially trained pharmacists work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the best medication regimen and monitoring plan for the pediatric patient. Clinical pharmacy services are integrated into virtually all inpatient care units as designated pharmacists round with the medical teams. Through this direct involvement, pharmacists are empowered to assist in a great deal of therapeutic decision making and therapeutic drug monitoring activities.

Additional Information
Department : North Campus Pharmacy
Hours per week : 36, eligible for benefits
Shift : Overnight (Wednesday - Tuesday), 10-hours shifts, 2030-0630 (7-nights on, 7-nights off)
This position is eligible for night and weekend differentials.
Eligible Incentive : Relocation assistance available for qualified external applicants.

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week) : $121,394.93 to $182,092.39
