Facility :

This facility is part of Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans. They provide comprehensive evaluation services through medical examinations for compensation and pension purposes across the country.

Opportunity :

Board Certified / Board Eligible - General Medicine

Job Details :

• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans
• 2 days per week needed in Sinking Spring, PA location
• Option to work half days (4-hours) and / or full days (8-hours) on a PRN basis
• Conduct one-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments
• Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing
• No prescribing or treatment required
• Specialties accepted : family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with background in general medicine or experience with compensation and pension
• Must have proficiency in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
• Provider must have their own office or work at the Sinking Spring location
• Must own a laptop (no Mac / Apple products allowed)
• Requires active and unrestricted full Pennsylvania license
• Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified
• Follow-up administrative work required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics)
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process
• Local candidates only, travel included in rates

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
