Cleveland Clinic's Department of Dermatology provides expert diagnoses and treatments for all disorders of the skin, hair and nails, whether primary or related to an underlying systemic illness, including industrial-related conditions.

Caregivers in this role are expected to work Monday through Friday from 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm, or 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm. Hours are variable and depends on the needs of the clinic / providers.

A caregiver who excels in this role will :

• Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in an ambulatory setting.
• Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues in the specified clinical area, while also ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
• Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned fellow caregivers, including assisting in the preparation of the department's specific education for patients and colleagues.
• Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experiences and patient safety.
• Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transition of care.
• Potentially assist other physician clinics and procedures in the area.
