Our busy store located in Port Jefferson Station is seeking a dedicated Cashier for their front end. Position functions : Greet customers & make checkout fast + friendly Handle payments with accuracy & confidence Keep your drawer balanced & transactions smooth Answer questions & make every visit a great one Experience : Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. Skills & Abilities : Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Comfortable using POS systems and handling electronic payments. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy when scanning and bagging items. Physical Requirements : Must be able to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed. Other Requirements : Friendly, professional attitude and a helpful demeanor. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
