• Medical, Dental & Vision, PTO, Free Parking, Metro Access, Tuition Reimbursement, 403(b) Unit Description : Reporting to the Assistant, CNO, the Director, Nursing - IMC will provide leadership for a 30-bed unit that provides care for high-acuity patients across a wide spectrum of complex specialties. Comorbidities are diverse and patients often require cardiac telemetry monitoring and / or mechanical ventilator support.
• Unit equipped with two negative pressure rooms and patient lift assist equipment in all rooms.
• On-site Nurse educator Responsibilities : -Responsibilities include accountability for the operational management, leadership, professional development and quality assessment and improvement activities of the unit. -Responsibilities also include assessing, planning, initiating, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating patient care activities for whom care is provided. -Will also assure the unit operates in a manner that meets organizational goals and objectives and meets standards set by regulatory and accrediting agencies. -Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health. Minimum licensure / certification required (if applicable) : -MSN or Master's Degree in Healthcare or related field. -Minimum five (5) years related clinical experience required. -Minimum of five (5) years management experience in comparable area of an acute care setting is required. -Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or a Compact State. -BLS & ACLS certifications -Specialty certification required in Med / Surg or Critical Care. Pay Range : $114,000 - 171,000 annual Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
