We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Operations Manager to join a leading company located in the Reading, PA surrounding area. We are seeking a motivated individual to lead and support our polymer operations team. The ideal candidate uses their strong leadership and communication skills to foster a continuous improvement culture, monitors and achieves production KPIs, and maintains a safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities :

• Drive behavior-based safety culture and promote a healthy, clean, and good working environment.
• Promote alignment to the culture and strategy.
• Plan, manage, and set direction and establish priorities to effectively manage day-to-day polymer manufacturing operations using established systems and procedures.
• Identify and implement effective operations strategies, tools, and best practices.
• Implement actions to improve productivity and compliance to departmental goals.
• Develop an annual budget and manage costs to meet operating budget objectives and lower conversion costs.
• Use technical capability to drive a driven approach to chemical processing issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in all areas of operations, including safety, operations, quality, and cost.
• Provide leadership and professionally manage the operations area to direct reports.
• Perform evaluations with feedback and manage training and skills progression programs.
