Family Assistant / Childcare, Full-time, Atlanta (Buckhead), GA

A born and raised Atlanta family is seeking a warm and professional career nanny to join their household in a long-term role. With two curious and active toddlers, they’re looking for someone who brings a sense of calmness but also a lot of creativity, energy and confidence to their home. The parents believe their children thrive with structure, encouragement, good values and open communication. These qualities are most valued by the parents.

The right candidate will be proactive and genuinely invested in supporting the children’s social, emotional, and intellectual growth. You’ll manage the day-to-day flow of routines, plan age-appropriate activities, prepare meals and snacks, assist with school drop-offs and pickups, and jump into messy play, arts and crafts, or backyard adventures with enthusiasm.

The family enjoys a great deal of traveling. Flexibility and willingness to pack up and go or stay overnights and weekends with the children at a moment’s notice is important. Occasional overnights and weekends are part of the role—with plenty of advance notice. The parents will make every effort to make every trip as smooth as possible for the children and will always value your input and experience in navigating those transitions.

The family will only consider candidates with a stable work history that has broad experience working with children of all ages. You must be a seasoned professional with 5+ years of nanny experience in busy private households. You should have a valid driver’s license and an up to date passport, be CPR/First Aid certified, and feel comfortable managing children with confidence and grace. The children’s mother is fluent in English, French and Spanish; she would prefer someone whose fluent in a second language too.
