Job Description
The role :
Responsible for performing inspections on incoming materials, in-progress processes, and finished goods per approved methods, procedures, and specifications. Inspectors interact with all levels of production management in assuring that finished goods meet required quality standards.
This role will report to Quality Manager.
Responsibilities :
Work to provide a GMP compliance company .
Oversee non-conformance and work with supervisor to ensure corrective actions are complete and followed.
Actively works with production team to resolve identified nonconformities.
Work as a team leader and communicate professionally. Assist with training new Quality Inspectors.
Recommend and help implement strategies and actions to mitigate risk / solve issues
Issue NCMR’s (Non-Conforming Materials Report) as required.
Identify categories of non-conformance specific to print
Review Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions to ensure up to date
Create standard guidelines
Ensure all employees adhere to GMP guidelines.
Perform other duties as required.

Excellent communication skills
Assist Supervisor with department monthly outputs and PowerPoint presentations
Experience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred.
Other duties and responsibilities as required by management.
Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED and 3 year QA experience are highly preferred.
Ability to communicate, write, and read in English.
Experienced with measuring instruments (scales, calipers, calibrating thermometers)
Basic computer literacy skills in Office Standard Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Office Suite
Must be open to work any shift.
