Position Summary :

The Service Advisor Assistant position is an entry-level role designed for individuals interested in building a career in automotive service. This role provides hands-on exposure to dealership operations, customer service, and vehicle service coordination. Working closely with experienced Service Advisors and management, you’ll learn the foundational skills needed to advance into a Service Advisor position.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Welcome customers to the Service Department and assist with vehicle check-in and initial documentation.
  • Shadow and support Service Advisors in creating repair orders, reviewing inspection results, and communicating with customers.
  • Learn to identify and explain recommended maintenance and repair services.
  • Coordinate vehicle pick-ups, deliveries, and transportation as needed.
  • Maintain accurate appointment schedules and follow up with customers regarding service updates.
  • Assist with cashiering, filing, and other administrative tasks to ensure smooth department operations.
  • Support a clean, organized, and professional service drive environment.
  • Participate in ongoing dealership and manufacturer training programs.

Qualifications :

  • No prior automotive experience required — training will be provided.
  • Strong interest in the automotive industry and desire to learn dealership service operations.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    This position offers a direct training path toward becoming a Service Advisor . As you develop your product knowledge, customer service, and technical understanding, you’ll gain the skills needed to transition into a customer-facing advisor role within our dealership network.
