Job description

Overview :

We're seeking multiple Full-Time Staff Pharmacists to join a rapidly growing mail-order pharmacy operation in Kentucky. This position offers a consistent daytime schedule, an engaging non-retail work environment, and long-term career growth potential.

Setting : Mail Order / Non-Retail Pharmacy

Location : Southgate, KY

Schedule : Multiple, Full-Time, Shifts available - 7 : 00 AM–3 : 00 PM, 8 : 00 AM–4 : 00 PM, or 9 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM; (Pharmacists typically work the closing shift, 11 : 00 AM–7 : 00 PM, only once per week.)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Provide pharmaceutical care and patient counseling as needed
  • Maintain compliance with controlled substance documentation and confidentiality standards
  • Communicate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and resolve medication-related issues
  • Utilize pharmacy systems and resources to ensure quality and accuracy

Qualifications :

  • Active and clear Kentucky Pharmacist License (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a practicing pharmacist
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills
