Cake Decorator

A busy bakery and foodservice operation is seeking an experienced Cake Decorator with commissary experience to create high-quality custom cakes and desserts. This role is hands-on and perfect for someone skilled in professional cake artistry who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Layer cakes prepare icing and decorate cakes to professional standards.

Assemble mousse and custom layer cakes per customer requests.

Work with fondant chocolate and various cake decorations including piping and modeling.

Temper chocolate and create chocolate decorations as needed.

Safely operate kitchen equipment and maintain a clean work environment.

Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production demands.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in a commissary or commercial kitchen .

Skilled in cake decoration techniques : piping icing fondant modeling glazing.

Knowledge of food safety sanitation and allergen handling.

Ability to lift 2550 lbs and work in hot and cold environments.

Effective communication skills in English (Spanish a plus).
