Job description

Data Center Facilities Infrastructure Specialist (DCFIS)

General Qualifications / Skills (TEMPE, AZ)

1. The DCFIS shall generally meet the following qualifications and possess the

following skills :

  • ? A clear understanding of industry best installation practices related to fiber / copper

structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and documentation

  • ? Knowledge of hardware components regarding network, storage, security and carrier

    • circuit equipment

  • ? Minimum of 7 years' experience working in a data center, NOC or similar critical

    • systems environments

  • ? The ability to monitor and control daily service ticket activity, prioritizing multiple tasks
  • ? Proficiency with managing information in the Microsoft Office Suite and Google

    • Workspace (Excel, Outlook, Visio, Google Sheets, Chat, Docs, etc.)

  • ? Above average communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • ? Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail
  • ? Basic knowledge and experience with critical facilities systems / topology (Electrical,

    • HVAC, Mechanical, and Controls)

  • ? The ability to work completely independently, while at times delegating task to other

    • individuals
