  • Days | 4x10-hour shifts (7 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM)
  • OR Days / Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (with rotating weekends and call)

    Job Description :

    Seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Level I Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The technologist will perform advanced CT imaging procedures in a fast-paced academic hospital setting, rotating through both inpatient and outpatient areas.

    This position offers flexible scheduling (10- or 12-hour shifts) and opportunities to assist across multiple imaging sites as needed.

    Responsibilities :

  • Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures per protocol, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
  • Operate Siemens scanners (Force x2, Go.Top, Definition AS).
  • Support a wide range of studies, including trauma, cardiac, neuro, and interventional CT-guided procedures (biopsies, drainages, vascular CTA).
  • Prepare and administer IV contrast media; start peripheral IVs as needed.
  • Practice radiation safety and infection control standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in trauma, emergency, and ICU environments.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and float to sister facilities as needed.

    • Requirements :

  • Licenses / Certifications :

    • ARRT (R)(CT) – required

  • BLS (AHA) – required
  • State License (SCRQSA) – required at start
  • Experience :

    • Minimum 1 year of CT experience

  • Level I Trauma experience required (6+ months minimum)
  • Siemens scanner experience preferred
  • Charting : Epic – required
  • Teaching Hospital experience : Preferred
  • Travel experience : Not required (first-time travelers welcome if Level I experience present)

    • Unit & Facility Details :

  • Setting : Level I Trauma & Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • Modalities / Procedures : 100% CT – trauma, cardiac, neuro, IR-guided procedures, and routine imaging
  • Daily Volume : ~130 scans / day
  • Rooms : 3
  • Float Requirement : Yes – across main and satellite imaging departments
  • Orientation : 40 hours
  • Call : Required – on-call rotation shared with staff
  • Scrub Color : Teal top, black bottom

    • Contract Details :

  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • Shifts Available :

    • 4x10s (7 : 30a–6p, Mon–Thurs)

  • 3x12s (Day or Night)
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36–40 / week
  • RTO Policy : Must be declared at submission; up to 7 non-holiday days auto-approved
  • Locals : Accepted case-by-case (≤60 miles; local rate applies)
  • Pending License : Not accepted — must have in-hand before start

    • Flu Vaccine : Required (medical / religious exemptions allowed)
