Position : Mechanical Engineer for Sales – Industrial Weighing Equipment

About the Role
This is a sales-driven position designed for someone who’s hands-on, resourceful, and eager to grow with a fast-paced team. As a key team member, you’ll play a direct role in driving revenue, supporting customers, and assisting with operations across departments. You’ll work closely with leadership, manufacturing, and customer support to help move projects forward and keep business flowing.
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and website
- Assist customers in selecting the right weighing equipment based on their specific needs
- Generate quotes, process orders, and manage timely follow-ups to close deals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, dealers, and distributors
- Support sales efforts across eCommerce platforms including Amazon, eBay, and Shopify
- Use Salesforce CRM to track leads, manage opportunities, and maintain customer records
- Follow up on quotes, inquiries, and previous customer activity to ensure satisfaction and generate repeat business
Manufacturing & Technical Support
Assist with reviewing and managing CAD drawings to support custom scale designs and ensure all builds meet exact specificationsWork closely with engineering and production teams to translate customer requirements into manufacturable solutionsGain a deep understanding of our scale product line, including models, configurations, and typical applicationsLearn core calibration techniques and assist with small troubleshooting tasks to ensure systems function accurately before shippingSupport quality control and product testing to verify that final assemblies meet performance standardsOperations & General Support
Support day-to-day business operations, working directly with leadership and cross-functional teamsAssist with inventory management, shipping / receiving coordination, and logistics follow-throughHelp manage project timelines, customer orders, and internal task trackingPitch in across departments—including marketing, admin, and customer service—when neededAssist with improving internal systems, including MRP software, Salesforce CRM, and process documentationThrive in a fast-paced environment where flexibility, accountability, and follow-through are keyQualifications
2–3 years of experience in sales, manufacturing, or operationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is requiredStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand complex industrial productsFamiliarity with CAD software and MRP / CRM systems is a plusExcellent communication, follow-through, and customer service skillsExperience in the weighing, measurement, or industrial equipment industry is a strong bonusMust be located in or willing to relocate to Las Vegas — this is a full-time, on-site positionStandard hours : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PMThis position reports directly to the CEOWhat We Offer
