Apply today!Compensation : $80,000 - $130,000 yearly commensurate with experienceResponsibilities : Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions

Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies

Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence

Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome

Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings

Communicate effectively with clients to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the proceedings and are included in their defense planningCooperate with colleagues as necessary to coordinate defense strategiesAppear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedingsConduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motionsDetermine case strategies and solutions to serve clients needs after analysisAdvise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of actionQualifications : Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required

Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed

Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role

Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus

Must be able to maintain client communications via phone, email, and in-person meetingsMust be able to attend hearings in courts throughout the northern half of OhioMust be able to review evidence, conduct research, and draft motionsMust be able to work with senior attorneys to coordinate strategyMust be willing to zealously represent the accused, regardless of allegationsDecision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a mustStrong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is requiredAbout CompanyPatituce & Associates, LLC is a criminal defense firm providing representation throughout Ohio at all local, state, and federal levels.
