Job descriptionOne onsite interview with the hiring manager Accurately receive, stock, and deliver materials to support production and shipping. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, or similar equipment. Verify parts, quantities, and complete bills of lading for incoming and outgoing materials. Support shipping, receiving, and inventory management functions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety rules and 6S standards. Prior forklift experience and ability to safely operate material handling equipment. Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments involving inventory management. High School Diploma or GED. Six months or more of relevant experience. Ability to become forklift certified. Experience with warehouse technology, inventory systems, or shipping confirmation processes. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Basic reading, writing, and comprehension skills. Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment. Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and handling materials. Occasional lifting or pushing / pulling of up to 25 lbs. Exposure to temperature changes, dust, and moderate noise levels. Standard weekday shift schedule with minimal overtime requirements.

Overview :
We are seeking a Material Handler for a short-term assignment (4–6 weeks with possible extension). This is a full-time, onsite role in East Granby, CT. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 7 : 00am–4 : 30pm, with no weekend work required. Candidates must have forklift experience.
Compensation :
- Hourly rate up to $19.50
