Job descriptionPerforms all shipping functions, including but not limited to pulling inventory, packing boxes, preparing related paperwork and documentation, and logging status into database. Ships orders using online shipping manifest systems. Performs all receiving functions. Maintains and manages inventory control. Coordinate periodic inventory cycle counts. Communicates regularly with customers, suppliers, and headquarters. Performs general warehouse duties such as picking and packing, maintaining supplies, and ensuring a clean and safe work area. May deliver packages on occasion, and as necessary, to shipping ground terminals. Support other departments as needed. High school diploma (or equivalent). Minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics or shipping / receiving in a manufacturing or warehouse environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience with online shipping systems such as FedEx, UPS, etc. Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, multiple tasks, and deadlines. Must possess basic math and reasoning abilities. Must have ability to communicate with all levels of personnel and business contacts. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to use a pallet jack. Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and MRP / ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred. Drug and background screenings are conducted upon hire.
