Summary - Sales & Estimating Manager
This position plays a key role in driving revenue growth, ensuring accurate proposals, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the Sales and Estimating staff, including a Junior Estimator, Inside Sales Representative, and Outside Sales Representative.
- Perform senior estimating duties, including quantity take-offs, budgets, and proposals.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members as needed.
- Support sales staff during new customer meetings, presentations, and calls.
- Follow up with potential clients to ensure contract awards and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Host internal and external meetings to align teams and support client engagement.
- Utilize Salesforce (preferred) or other CRM systems to manage opportunities, client data, and sales pipeline.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering accountability and growth.
- Work directly with architects, contractors, and developers on architectural building product projects.
Qualifications :
Proven leadership experience managing sales and estimating teams.Strong estimating background with experience in architectural building products.Proficiency in quantity take-offs, budgets, and proposal preparation.Bluebeam experience preferred.CRM experience required; Salesforce experience highly preferred.Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to lead and mentor a team while also managing client-facing responsibilities.Salary : $90-110k with flexibility upwards based on experience
