St. Jude House an innovative domestic violence organization is seeking a visionary Director of Development to take our fundraising efforts to the next level. This role provides the opportunity to help survivors of domestic violence find safety healing and hope.

Youll lead a dynamic trauma-informed development strategy that includes :

• Building donor journeys from first gift to legacy
• Expanding monthly giving and major gifts
• Cultivating corporate partnerships and ambassador networks
• Integrating technology for smarter fundraising
• Leading signature events with heart and purpose
• Training and activating Board and volunteers as fundraising champions

Position Requirements

Education : Undergraduate degree in communications business nonprofit management or related field preferred.

Licenses / Certifications : Fundraising certification preferred.

Experience : Minimum 5 years progressive experience in fundraising leadership experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities : Proficiency in donor management systems (Raisers Edge or similar) and online giving platforms. Strong knowledge of donor acquisition moves management donor segmentation and stewardship best practices. Exceptional communication relationship-building and project management skills. Ability to execute strategy and work independently. Experience with corporate partnerships and planned giving program a plus. Familiarity with trauma-informed communication and domestic violence advocacy a plus.

Travel : Must have valid drivers license. Local travel required.
