UX / UI Designer Job at SCHOOLSAFEZONE INC in Danville

We’re looking for people based in the United States skilled in creative and detail-oriented UX / UI Designing to shape the look, feel, and functionality of our platform. You will play a key role in designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for both administrators and students. Your work will directly impact how schools manage technology use, while creating an experience that feels seamless, empowering, and engaging.

Responsibilities

Translate complex product requirements into clear, user-centered design solutions.

Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile platforms.

Conduct user research and usability testing with school staff and students to inform design decisions

Create and maintain design systems, ensuring scalability and consistency across products.

Continuously improve user journeys based on feedback and analytics.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience in UX / UI design (preferably in SaaS or EdTech).

Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile product design.

Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.).

Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.

Experience conducting user interviews, testing, and incorporating feedback.

Ability to balance creativity with practical, scalable solutions.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
