Remote - 1099 Utilization Review Work in Gastroenterology

JOB POSTING

Spend only 1-2 hours a week and provide your expertise in Gastroenterology by conducting Utilization Reviews in the Utilization Management / Peer Review process.  A current Indiana medical license is required (or current ‘Letter of Qualification’ from the IMLC).

Medical Review Institute of America, LLC (MRIoA) is a national Independent Review Organization (IRO), who facilitates the review of medical claims to determine treatment appropriateness; known as Peer Review or Utilization Review.

IS REVIEW WORK FOR ME ?

• Are you interested in staying informed of changes and knowing what treatments are being utilized by other Gastroenterologists?
• Are you interested in learning more about how to get your own patient’s treatment approved?
• Most MRIoA reviewers average 1-2 hours per week, however, there are no minimum expectations.
• Cases typically take 30-60 minutes to complete.
