Days; 1-2 rotations to weekend per 4 week schedule; 1-2 rotation to Eves 1p-11;30pm per 4 week cycle; 2-3 weekday calls per 4 week schedule.\n\n1.\tUnit Name : Operating Room Surg Tech.\n2.\tBrief Unit Description : Level II Trauma; complex community setting.\n3.\tShift : Days 7am-5 : 30pm, 1-2 rotations to weekend per 4 week schedule. 1-2 rotation to Eves 1p-11 : 30pm per 4 week cycle. 2-3 weekday calls per 4 week schedule.\n4.\tYears of Experience Required : minimum 1-2 years of OR experience.\n5.\tClinician to Patient Ratio : 1 : 1.\n6.\tPatient Population : Pediatric, Adult & Geriatric.\n7.\tBed Count : 15.\n8.\tCensus : Approximately 30 - 40 patients per day.\n9.\tEMR (Charting System) : EPIC.\n10.\tFloating Required : No.\n11.\tRotating Shifts Required : Yes, approximately 2-3 shifts every 4 weeks. Weekend rotation working 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm and Call 3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm every 1 of 4 weeks - NO NIGHT CALL.\n12.\tCall Requirement : Surg Techs are expected to take Call weekends and weekday Eve Call. \n13.\tCertifications Required : Surg Tech Certification.
