Role Overview
Minth Group is leveraging its global Tier‑1 manufacturing base and strong North America presence to expand into robotics, AI infrastructure, and advanced power & energy systems . The Application & Product Engineer – Metal & Electronics supports metal, thermal, and electromechanical products , combining customer engagement, feasibility assessment, and early‑stage product exploration.
This role bridges customer needs, engineering concepts, and manufacturing constraints , enabling Minth to respond quickly and credibly to new opportunities while maintaining execution discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Engineering & Feasibility
- Support technical feasibility and architecture discussions for metal, thermal, and electromechanical components
- Evaluate material choices, manufacturing routes, and scalability considerations
- Identify and communicate technical constraints and risks early
- Customer & Technical Sales Support
- Participate in customer technical meetings, RFIs, and RFQs
- Provide technical clarification and prepare presentations or concept summaries
- Translate customer requirements into internal engineering inputs
- Manufacturing & Process Awareness
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to assess feasibility of : Stamping, casting, machining, or assembly processes
- Surface treatments and finishing processes
- Support manufacturing‑reality checks prior to commitments or nominations
- Technology & Product Exploration
- Participate in exploration of new metal materials, thermal components, and electromechanical solutions
- Support evaluation of emerging technologies and non‑automotive applications
Qualifications
RequiredBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering5+ years of experience with metal, thermal, or electronic productsSolid understanding of manufacturing fundamentals - Strong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred (Not Required)Experience with stamping, casting, or machiningExposure to surface treatments (anodizing, plating, painting, ED)Basic understanding of electronics or thermal management
