Job Summary
The Engineer 2 - Distribution is an entry-level engineering position responsible for supporting electric distribution system planning, design, and project execution . This role requires the application of engineering principles to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the electric distribution system. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in engineering , strong technical and communication skills , and a desire to grow within the utility industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, planning, and maintenance of electric distribution systems.
- Utilize ArcFM GIS Mapping or similar technologies to support system mapping and network modeling.
- Support project management activities , including project tracking, coordination, and documentation.
- Prepare and review engineering documentation such as design standards, technical reports, and system plans.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
