We’re looking for a full-time, staff Lead Project Manager to join our Day & Zimmermann team on site located in Port Gibson, MS.

As the Lead Project Manager, here’s the work you’ll do :

Lead Project Manager is responsible for full project life cycle including estimating, planning and project execution. The Lead Project Manager is responsible for the direction and management of overall project meeting / exceeding safety, financial, operational, and customer goals. Also responsible for the successful oversight of all project construction and support team obligations.

The individual will drive the Day & Zimmermann culture and values, accountability, use of defied processes and procedures, consistency in execution and Continuous Improvement Program

• Direct and manage project management and construction management in all aspects of project, from scheduling, planning, procurement and all aspects of project implementation
• Serve as point of customer contact and ensure communication from project managers on project status to all stakeholders, both internal and external
• Champion the organization’s commitment to safety and demonstrate a strong personal commitment to safety and D&Z values by providing leadership and establishing expectations and accountability related to the execution of the effective customer and D&Z safety program across the entire Business Line.
• Oversee tactical reviews of the site work plans to ensure adequate organizational resources are prioritized and deployed to support the contract requirements.
• Drive effective project and contract management governance, procedures, tools and financial controls are established and maintained by all project managers. Recruit and hire team members to support the businesses growth in project management and site supervision roles
• Effectively partner with functional areas via the appropriate Project Management Office to achieve shared goals, resolve conflicts, and establish / promote best practices an d process improvement

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $91,000 – 206,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
