Plan and execute local maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.Perform skilled technical maintenance following established procedures.Leverage manuals, IPCs, schematics, blueprints, drawings, and other technical documentation.Diagnose and correct electrical and hydraulic faults within set timeframes.Keep complete, accurate maintenance records; perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections.Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18 or older.Ability to speak and hear efficiently; read, write, understand, and give directions in English.Basic to intermediate computer proficiency.Personal tools required : basic sockets / wrenches up to 1" and up to 1 / 2" drive.Strong organizational and time-management skills for competing priorities.Knowledge of fluid types; diesel-powered machines and tools—their design, use, repair, and upkeep.Professionalism and confidentiality; tactful interaction with colleagues and client reps.Experience with standard / specialized tools and diagnostic gear (photo tachometer, scanners, meters, diagnostic hardware).Valid driver’s license.Ability to travel to other IDS airport stations when called (TDY).Work Conditions
Prolonged standing; exposure to noise (sometimes excessive), varying temperatures / humidity, and safe but potentially unpleasant odors.Environment in and around heavy moving equipment.Physical Requirements
Use of hands for tools / controls; reaching with hands / arms; effective speaking and hearing.Extended sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.Lift up to 50 lbs.Benefits
