American Traveler is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapist for a travel job in Grinnell, Iowa.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of PT experience, a completed travel contract, and BLS certification for a home health setting.

Responsibilities

  • Position is for 32 hours per week
  • Home health setting with patients of all age groups
  • Uses Epic EMR and experience is preferred
  • Work schedule requires holiday coverage for 2 out of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
  • Primary responsibilities include providing physical therapy care across the lifespan in a home health environment
  • Epic EMR is used for documentation
  • Time off requests are limited to 1 day between 11 / 26 and 11 / 30 and between 12 / 23 and 1 / 2
  • Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 major winter holidays
  • First-time travelers are not eligible for this role

    • Requirements

  • Current BLS certification required
  • Active Iowa PT license or compact license required if applicable
  • Minimum of 2 years recent PT experience required
  • At least 1 completed travel contract required
  • Experience in home health and with all age groups is preferred
  • Supervisory reference from within the last 2 years required
