Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Stuart, FL 34994. This is a 6 month contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Duration: 6 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Payrate: $20-23/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (5 days a week).

Job Responsibilities:

• Operated diagnostic equipment and performed EKGs, venipuncture, capillary blood draws, and specimen collection.
• Administered non-IV medications, performed wound care, removed staples, and assisted with basic clinical procedures.
• Prepared patients for examinations and documented care accurately in medical records.
• Coordinated patient care per physician orders and organizational policies.
• Maintained exam rooms, sterilized instruments, and followed infection control standards.
• Conducted patient intake and supported telephone/in-person screening.
• Ensured patient confidentiality and provided respectful, professional care.
• Performed quality control checks and assisted with additional assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Highschool/GED or equivalent.
• Graduated from Medical Assistant program, Certification (CMA, CCMA, RMA) (certification is required).
• Current, BLS Certification.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
