Job description

Job Title : Help Desk Support Technician

Location : Hybrid - Remote with occasional onsite visits

Workplace Type : Hybrid

Duration : 6-Month Contract

Pay Rate : $20-$23 / hr

Job Summary :

The Help Desk Support Technician will provide remote technical support to users across the organization, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and application issues. This hybrid role requires occasional onsite visits to the Burlington, VT location (once or twice a month).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver remote help desk support using troubleshooting tools and techniques.
  • Provide excellent customer service and collaborate effectively with a close-knit IT support team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Active Directory, virtual desktops, and general desktop tools.
  • Log and escalate incidents accurately using ticketing systems.
  • Support a wide range of IT applications in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Coordinate with other IT staff to ensure seamless support delivery.

Top Skills Required :

  • Remote Help Desk Support - Proven experience in remote troubleshooting and support.
  • Customer Service & Team Collaboration - Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Active Directory & Virtual Desktop - Hands-on experience with user account management and virtual environments.
  • Epic / Hospital Support - Not required but highly preferred.
  • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with service desk environments.
  • Exposure to healthcare IT systems and workflows.
