Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity exists for a registered nurse skilled in operating room care to contribute to patient-centered surgical services. This 13-week contract role offers a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, starting early at 6 : 30 a.m., with occasional on-call responsibilities approximately 1-2 times per week, including every third weekend.

Key qualifications and skills include :

• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Experience with orthopedic and general surgeries, as well as C-section procedures
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system
• Ability to float to Pre-op and PACU (pre-anesthesia care unit) as required

Responsibilities include preparing operating rooms for surgical procedures, supporting surgeons and other team members throughout surgeries, maintaining patient safety, and managing post-operative care in pre-op and PACU settings.

This contract position requires a committed professional with sound clinical judgment and excellent communication skills to ensure seamless surgical processes. Flexibility with on-call schedules and weekend shifts is essential.
