License : Required

Certifications : ARRT, BLS, RT

Must-Have :

Experience with Varian equipment and TruBeam.

Experience with SBRT and SRS.

Preferred experience in Respiratory Gating and Surface Tracking.

Familiarity with EMR and PACS systems, specifically Epic, Aria, and PACS.

Description :

The position involves working in a department with a linear accelerator and a CT scanner.

Clienttion Therapists will perform IMRT, SBRT, SRS, Respiratory Gating, and Surface Tracking.

Responsibilities include conducting CT simulations independently.

Therapists will average 15 scans or studies per day.

The department does not require floating to other areas.

There is no requirement to start IVs, although it is beneficial.

There is no requirement for weekend or holiday shifts.

The dress code allows for any color scrubs, which must be supplied by the individual.

A Clienttion Oncologist is present in-house, but there is no radiologist on site.

Training includes 2-3 days of cross coverage with other therapists.

The department does not use RRA’s.
