About St. John’s Community Health

At St. John’s Community Health (SJCH), we believe healthcare is a human right—not a privilege. For more than 60 years, we’ve delivered quality, accessible care to Los Angeles’ most underserved communities and, in more recent years, expanded our reach into Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we’ve grown into a nationally recognized network of community health centers committed to equity, compassion, and impact.

Why Join St. John’s Community Health

When you join SJCH, you’re not just stepping into a healthcare job — you’re joining a bold, compassionate movement. Here, you’ll find mentorship, collaboration, and the freedom to make a real impact. Whether you’re just starting your clinical journey or seeking a place to grow, thrive, and lead with heart, SJCH is where meaningful careers are made.

About the Role

A SJCH, we’re redefining what access to vision care looks like. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on diverse patient populations, including school-aged children, families, and seniors who may not otherwise have access to quality vision services. You’ll join a compassionate, mission-driven team that believes healthcare is a human right — helping patients see more clearly, feel cared for, and experience lasting comfort right where it’s needed most.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Ensure the mobile unit remains safe, organized, and compliant with all infection-control and safety protocols.
  • Bring SJCH’s mission to life by connecting with children and families at school sites, community health fairs, and local outreach events — turning care into action.
